Hmmm. I can't run the chanel myself (server restriction) but I think there is a real-time chat feature available. May look into that. Of course, if anyone else knows how to set up an IRC chanel, I'd be happy to set up a members only info forum for the address, password / archives, etc.

Well, one of us could just log onto to an IRC server and start a Martial Talk channel, but I don't know about passwording it or anything like that. To tell the truth, I haven't been on IRC for some time...just thought it'd be kinda neat to have one if ever there were, say, 4 or more registered users logged on to the forums.

Well, I'm not that familiar with IRC, but if someone else wants to run one, we can add the link here somewhere. I'll look into the chat-room feature and see how feasible it is.

I already have a channel set up called #americankenpo on mIRC. You can find it using any dal.net server. It is open to any martial arts practitioner to use.
