If you're not the kid of a martial arts teacher/master/grandmaster, is it possible to progress in a particular style of FMA without ever having to join a club, or is it like, mandatory if you ever want to develop your skills? Would you teach someone higher level techniques even if they don't want to be part of your organization? Thank you for your thoughts.

If they want to learn the art and not just be able to swing sticks they need to learn from an instructor.
The only way I would teach advanced techniques to anyone not involved under my teaching would be if they where a student some where and I knew them, their instructor and their rank.
