Most folks do some cardio work, some calisthenics, stretching, maybe a weight routine, some bag or tire-stack work and a lot of training when they want to get stronger. As a geezer, this is getting tougher every year, so I'm always looking at what others do. Do you guys have any favorite or unusual conditioning methods you'd like to share?

Hi Clark

I have already replied to your other post but thought I would do it again.

Basically, do body weight movements and explosive core training. Isolation exercises in the gym don't do much for MA fighters, makes you look good but if you want functional strength then get back to basics.

For a whole heap of ideas I recommend a book on Core Training by some serious guys on my rainingbombs website.

Size isn't everything in a fighter but personally I like being the biggest and strongest in my group.
