Diferences

I want to know the diferences beetwen the japanese sword (aka katana) and the korean sword (the one used on Hedong Gumdo), you know shapes, edges, and all the parts that integrated the sword and the metalurgy too.

I saw a clip of the korean sword and looks slight diferent from the katana.

Really the two are one and the same when talking about 'modern' blades, those not made by traditional Japanese sword-smithing techniques, as one is a copy of the other.
