Toss it in the wash on cold, throw in your choice of detergent (I use the Tide pods) and if your machine has a setting for how dirty your load is put it on high. Works every time.

If it's particularly stubborn, spray some stain remover (for clothes, not carpet!) before you throw it in.

I had rather a lot of blood on one of my gi's (some idiot trained in it after giving blood). I just put something like Stain Stick on it and washed it - it all came out.

EDIT: My wife tells students I switched us to black gi's to hide the blood stains.

Your wife sounds awesome, Seymour. THIS is why I want a significant other that also trains in martial arts. Shame there's no dating website for MA folks...

Now I'm imagining a commercial like the FarmersOnly.com thing.

The only fault I see is someone lying and saying they're a black belt when they're not. Oh well, that's Johnny's problem when his date goes to kick him and wonders why he didn't block and is gasping for breath in the fetal position...
