Hello, Flatlander. That's too bad. Two people celebrating the beginning of a life together and some idiots ruin it. Blade violence is alive and well here in small town New Mexico, which can be a pretty violent place generally, as calling the police is considered kind of an unmacho thing to do. Only a couple of weeks ago, a man stabbed to death in the next little town over during a drunken street brawl. A few months back, same thing happened about 5 miles from my house. Anyone reading this thread, have there been any knife attacks in your area? Is it a pretty common thing where you live.

Holy...cow. That's a huge mess for the police to wade through, in terms of the logistics and the number of people at both weddings. Crap.

We usually think of a guy in an alley with a knife or whatnot, but I think situations like this - big parties where people can drop in unnoticed - or times of celebration can be taken advantage of.
