I found my Uncle's copy of The Master's Text! I never expected to but I did... I can not even describe my excitement.

Is the white belt written under my username changeable or is it something to do with the site?

It's an indication of how long you've been here, how many posts etc.

But welcome to Martial Talk, brother. Hope you enjoy it.

I knew Nick Cerio back in the day. Knew his wives Nancy and Kelly, too. Good people. Nick was a great guy.

Hello all, my name is Troy. I have been a Martial Artist since I was 10 years old when my Uncle Bill (see avatar photo) introduced me to Nick Cerio's Kenpo. I was able to achieve a blue belt and was fortunate enough to sit in and watch advanced classes and train with my brother who was a few ranks ahead of me. We moved away and I was unable to complete the NCK system. I branched off and studied other marital arts for a while. My Uncle, father figure, teacher, friend, mentor and my idol, passed away during this time and I was broken. To honor him I have made it my life's goal to achieve a black belt in NCK and pass it on to others like my Uncle did and loved to do. He was an amazing martial artist whom I personally had the chance to see him employ the NCK system against a much bigger and stronger man in a street fight and he won. I love the NCK system and I hope to find and share information with my fellow Kenpo enthusiasts.
