Boxing (around 1987) - Boxing and basic grappling as taught by my father.

    Karate (1992) - I took a few seminars.

Fencing (1994 - 1995) - I took fencing classes at the YMCA, learning the foil, epa and rapier. I won a 4th place medal in my fencing tournament in 1995.

    High-school Wrestling (around 1994) - briefly in high-school wrestling.

Tae Kwon Do/TASOS (1995 - 2000) - Trained for about 5 years before I had to drop out. I obtained a blue belt and was about to test for purple. I had to stop shortly before obtaining , my purple belt due to money issues. I returned in 2002 at the age of 22 and 50 pounds heavier. I once again almost obtained my purple belt but money again became a problem, and I had to drop out again. After that I ended up moving. My new home was to far away so looked for a new teacher.

Tien Shan Pai/Northern Shaolin Kung Fu (around 2000 - 2002) - I was able to learn some of the fundamentals of Chinese martial arts as well as be introduce to some of the weapons over the next two years.

Shaolin-Do (02-2008 - 2014) - Primary focus is on Shaolin-Do's Taijiquan, Baguaquan, Xingyiquan, and Qigong. Since I've studied both what is called the "external path" and "internal path", I hold both an external rank (2nd degree brown belt) and internal rank (1st degree black sash).

Bujinkan (2013) - Trained in the lower rank material with a friend who is a Hachi-Kyu

Kali/Kuntao mixed with Tien Shan Pai (12-2015 - present) - can't really call this one art. It's a mix, dynamic and adaptive. Good stuff. I've obtained the fourth level.

Budo (08-06-2016 - on hold from back injury) - currently a Ju Go Kyu (08/29/2016)

Yang Taijiquan through a student of Yang Jun (04-2018 - present)
