Just some thoughts on training please!
Morning ladies, Quick question, I am new hear but just wanted to run down a few things - I have a fought before only western boxing and just picked up Muay Thai. I am loving it! Anyway I am keen to get up to starch and comfortable with my new found elbow, legs and knees. Ideally I would like to be fighting in 6 months time. I am heading over to Thailand in 2 months time for 10 days training as well so that hopefully will give me a boost! Anyway this is what I am doing training wise I was wondering if you ladies can see any holes in my training or any areas which I should be addressing a little more. Really looking forward to hearing your comments! Thanks for your help as always! Kitty x Weekly training: Monday - MT techquie ( includes 15 mins core work, 15 min bag work, 15 mins pads, 15 mins techquie) 1 hour Tuesday – Boxing circuits (basically 12 rounds on bags one with pads & core work) Wednesday - REST Thursday - MT techquie 1 hour Friday - MT techquie 1 hour directly followed by full contact sparring 1 hour (8 rounds different partners) Saturday - Yoga – one hour Personal training session - MT techquie (2 hours) Sunday - Yoga - 1 hour I do a one hour run each morning as well (apart form Friday, Saturday and Sunday) |
