If you want to know more about this term, ask (PM?) Doc.
He's the one that uses that term the most really.

You might check his web-site also for more of his info.

I think we've about hashed this one to death.

Just do a search on Doc's posts, or for "Sub Level 4" and that should tell you what you want to know.

is a phrase coined by Dr. Chapel to distinguish his system from what Mr. Parker taught in the 1950's and 60's, from what he taught in the 1970's and 80's. There is a lot of controversy about his calling some practitioners "Motion Kenpo" guys.

Technique based systems - Pre 1970;

Motion Kenpo (which focuses on Principles of Motion);

SL-4 (which I could possibly define as having read his 101 course syllibus and followed his posts ... but am not really qualified to give an exactly correct answer, so you are best PM'ing or emailing him)
