September 2003: Focus on Kenpo
Ed Parker Sr. was an innovator when it comes to martial arts. His studies on motion and the human body led him to develop one of the premier arts of the 20th century. Called by many the first 'American' martial art, his Kenpo system features an encyclopedia of threat/response techniques. In our September issue, we will be featuring articles on this art by some of those actively pursuing the journey.
October 2003: Focus on Chinese martial arts.
Considered by many to be the leading type of martial arts in the world, the Chinese arts date back thousands of years. Many notables have studied them, including the late Bruce Lee. Join us as we take a look at the ideas and concepts that have shaped some of the oldest arts still in existance.
Each issue will also contain our regular columns and features, in addition to the features.
Future issues will feature:
Self Defence
Focus on Health
Japanese, Korean, and other 'national' arts.
and more.
