Madilynn "Len" Fitzgerald
1st Degree Brown Belt
Madilynn "Len" Fitzgerald joined Filipino Martial Arts Academy on January 2007. She originally joined the class only to participate in cardio exercises and be fit. She was surprise to find a new passion --- Eskrima. After a year of diligently training under Master Nilo Baron, Len decided to compete in Forms and Full Contact Sparring Tournaments. With all the support and techniques from the best instructors, Len placed 1st placed in the Bantamweight Division in the 2008 Doce Pares World Championship held in Cebu Philippines. Currently, she holds the rank of 1st Brown and will continue to pursue her Black belt in the coming years. She and her family (husband Paul, 2 sons Andru & Markus) spend most of their time practicing and assisting other fellow students in learning. She passionately embraces Eskrima with all her heart and humbles herself in learning more.
