birthday tourament weekend

WELL i hope you guys don;t mind this but i just like to post this
ON sunday I will hit the BIG 18 but this weekend i had a tourament on my Birthday weekend.

We drove 4 hrs in Ohio for it. I had alot of fun I got 2nd in continuous sparring cause i lost by 2 points but i got 2 points taken away when my foot almost hit his face but i hit the side of the head gear. I got 1st in IPPON kumite 1 point sparing. Also got 1st in Chanbara. That was friday and on sat I got first In point sparring 3rd forms I am used to winning but this just fells cool cause it was on my birthday weekend anyway got a big day tomoro

almost the triple crown on your b-day weekend....not to shabby.
I don't think i got anywhere near a triple crown in my career.....especially not as a birthday gift!!

no prob. I know it was a while ago....but missed this posting of it.

It made me think back to my competition days (end of the 80's).
I did almost get a triple crown 1 time. I got first in fighting and forms, but 2nd in weapons. I believe it was Henry Fuentas tournament back when he had them in Monroe. It could have been Steve Echtinaw's tournament....i just remember they were decent trophies, and I had 3 almost identical ones!!!
