That is contradicting. Either it is traditional or he created it.


Dr. Liu was trained to analyze patients by means of secret diagnostic procedures handed down to him by his Taoist teachers

Does not say Dr.Liu trained with any Taoist sects in his Bio section.
I have also heard of Taoist acupuncture and there are books on the subject.
I am weary of secret and Taoism in same setence.


he also directs his own Chi energy into the needles and thus directly into the patient, a technique that is unknown to most other acupuncturists.
It is actually known by most Acupuncturist. I want to say the HuangDi Neijing speaks about it but I don't have my copy or any of my classics with me so I can not quote but I am about 60-70% sure it is in there.

I am sure Dr.Liu is a talented TCM doctor and martial artist but somethings are just stretching the truth I think.

It is a great gesture to offer free classes but it makes me wonder what exactly is free.
