I don't no much about the internal arts but find what little I do no interesting. I was just wondering if someone could explain to me what qigong is?

in its simplest definition qigong mean energy/breath skill or exercise. It can consist of breathing patterns along with physical movemnts that stretch meridians and stimulate acupoints. Also there are form of qigong that invlove standing postures that work the postural muscles. Much qigong is about strengthening the body. There is also medical qigong containing specific exercises for specific dis-ease.

An excellent book on several facets of qigong is "Qigong Empowerment" by Liang Shou-yu. Available on Amazon.com and elsewhere. A little pricey, but worth it.
