56 pages, 2.04MB PDF.
Check it out, we think you'll like it. :)
I thought it was going to be a printed publication?
I like it .. but I can see it quickly becoming a sole FMA mag, if
you're not careful.

The more people that submit articles, the more it will become diverse.

Print version is planned once theres enough interest. Tentatively planned for 4th Quarter 2003.
Right now, we have 4 regular columns, which cover EPAK, RMA, CMA, and FMA. Its my hope that we will have 10 regular columnists. They key is on getting more folks to write for us. :)
Thank you! :)

I like it alot
I want to say Thank you to all those who worked on this to get it out the door.
As to it being a FMA Magizine. Kirk, Change that! Write an article, get others to write that you respect. Or do an interview of your instructor and then submit it. Something, to get involved and also to make sure knowledge is given out to others. :D
Enjoy, I did

I like it too, I wasn't trying to criticize for the sake of criticising :(

COOL! :)
We are planning on a series of interviews with some of the notables in Kenpo, and are looking forward to reviews on several more kenpo tapes that are in the works.
We want diversity. :)
Columnist guidelines are rather simple: dont get me or us sued, and proofread it b4 sending. :D (Theres a bit more, but that does get the gist)

Oh, 1 other point - Dont be leary of saying what you -didnt- like, or if there are concerns about direction. Because I hang out in mostly FMA circles, I don't have the contacts I'd like outside of that, so thats where our readers come in.
Want an interview on Judo? Help us get in contact with them and we will see what we can bring you. :) etc.
Personally, I'm not happy with the quality of some graphics, and the way the ad layout went. Both should be much improved in issue 2 as I've gotten the sizing figured out.
Couple of layout and formatting issues also were evident that should be much cleaner next issue.
Couple of font issues also cropped up for some folks. Note: You -MUST- be using acrobat reader 4.x or newer. If you are getting 'Font' errors, please try upgrading to the newer acrobat reader software, free from Adobe.

This is first rate stuff. Great work Kaith (and everyone else).
Put a link to it somewhere near the top of the home and forum pages!

Nice.
Question: The first issue is free. What about the second issue?
Suggestions:
Add a classified section, and a letters area.

Thank you.
Classifieds are a possibility once we get things going. I want to make sure the content is key so the subscribers get a real bang for the buck magazine. :)
The July issue is the freebie, starting with the August issue, it will only be available to subscribers.
A subscription costs $12US per year (or an average of $1/issue). You can subscribe online thru the website, or by mail. The address info is on the 'subscribe' link.
