Has anyone here practice or heard of the S C A R S system? If so what are your thoughts? Do you think it would be effective?

just when you thought the SCARS scene was starting to quiet down....:D
jerry peterson just doesn't seem to be putting himself out there as much as he used to. that's fine with me.

You mean to say that you don't think that SCARS is effective? You mean that I shouldn't throw out all my martial training and replace it with a two-video set?
SAY IT ISN'T SO!!! I had the check all written out, and everything!!!
Thanks for the excellent review, Sharp Phil. Nice website, too. It just got added to my extensive list of favorites...:D

Thanks.
Actually, SCARS is much more than a two-video set. They sell an extensive series of videotapes. I have most if not all of them and will one day get around to viewing them. Probably.

Hehe......after reading your review on the "intro" set, Sharp Phil, I don't know that I would want to go much further than a two-tape set.....

If you want to know what SCARS is, just train to Green Belt in SAN SOO(sp?), that's what Gerry Peterson did.
If you want to know what it isn't, just apply yourself to the art in which you are already training. When you reach the point where your art is the most effective thing you have ever seen, then that's what it isn't.
