The entire Iraq TKD team was kidnapped and presumed murdered in 2006. However, it appears someone has been arrested for the murders.

The team was driving to a training camp in neighboring Jordan in May 2006, when their convoy was stopped in the Anbar province between Fallujah and Ramadi. All 15 athletes were abducted.
The remains of 13 members of the team were later found. Two team members are still missing.
