how about a sticky thread for the Wing chun Terminologies.

there is one in the kenpo groups, and I have developed a bit of an interest in Wing Chun.

Until then hope this will help

Bat jaam do = eight slash knives; Wing Chun butterfly knives

Bong sau = wing arm block contacting on the wrist area

Bui gee = shooting fingers, third Wing Chun form

Chi dan gerk = single sticky legs exercise

Chi gerk = sticky legs exercise

Chi sau = sticky hands

Chum Kiu = the name of the second form means seeking the bridge

Da= a strike or hit

Dan chi sau = single sticky hands exercise

Gum Sao= pressing hand

Pak sao =slapping hand

Sui Nim Tao=First Empty hand form

Yee gee kim yeung ma =the mother of all stances; the stationary front stance for developing all stances.

there is a whole list of the terms on the ving tsun museum site, http://www.vtmuseum.org/, its un reference library at the top, then terminology, and augustings fongs site had a list too, unless they got rid of it, http://www.fongswingchun.com/
