Why do drunks always think they have been gifted with the skill of karate?

Many, many years ago I was outside of a Chinese takeaway and some drunk guy decided to pick a fight with the workers there. He starter to do a poor imitation of boxing or possibly kick boxing. Then a waiter ran out, pulled a bunch of over the top kung fu poses and made the drunk guy run off. Bloody hilarious.
