Euphemisms for sparring

When I trained in Western Boxing & full-contact rules kickboxing, we almost never called sparring, sparring. We usually caled it "doing work" as in "do you want to do some work today?" In your school &/or Art, what (other than sparring) do you call it?

Going Live(as oppose to comliant partner drills, the instructor at this school was a big Pro-Wrestling fan and liked the lingo. The term stuck with me)

The Yellow Belt Beating (Ego busting when, as a low rank you get an inflated ego and a senior student helps you with a realistic evaluation of your skill set)
The Brown Belt Beating (Ego Affirming sparring when the material seems to gel really well for the first time and you administer a serious whoping to your aprtner. Unfortunately funny when it happens in concert with the Yellow Belt Beating)

Generally we call it sparring.
But sometimes all we need to say is "gear up" or "all your gear on".

Then if we do some one point sparring, I sometimes borrow "golden goal practice"

If it's more boxing or grappling we call it "a play"
As in "Let's have a bit of a play"

i'm trying to introduce "facing the stark fist of removal" but so far it hasn't caught on.
