One guy says " Whats the big deal with Kenpo"?
Help me to give a good answer.
Why do you prefer Kenpo to other martial arts?
I only know Kenpo , i have no previous martial arts background.

Does this guy study martial arts? If so, ask him whats up with his art.

Straight Forward Self Defense
Delayed Sword could break a collar bone rendering the shoulder girdle pretty much useless for a few weeks. Not bad for the very first tech in a system (Speaking of EPAK mostly).
LOGIC and Principles
I have no real experience with other arts to speak of so I am very short sided on this subject.

To a non martial artist, I tell them how each type of martial art
has a specialty, like TKD's is kicking, Aikido is using your
opponent's own momentum against them. Kenpo's is economy of
motion .. and I explain that a bit further .. but not much.

The kinesiology of the body moving thru space and the application of realistic self defense.

... tell him it combines the linear strikes of Japanese Karate with the circular movements of Kung-Fu. It is based on principles such as levers, fulcrums, body momentum - through all three dimensions, and tailored to the individual practitioner. It combines hands and feet 50-50 and kicks seldom above the waist, unless the opponent is positioned with his head below his waist ... you know, kissing his a#$ goodby.
