everything outside of the actual "forum" is changed. the nav at the top is all changed and the background table's background color has changed. it's also gone now and the forum fills 100% of the browser window.

everything else seems the same to me so far.

Things I have noticed Kaith,

IT requires me to login every time I click on MArtial Talk . com Logo on top of page.

Also, some of the old buttons at the top of the page are not there. :D As I realize this is work in progress, this to be understood.

Keep it coming :)

Ok, had some typos... When you spot an problem, please let me know here...

At this point, I think I'm done. Gonna step back for a few minuites and then do another sweep thru.

You will notice several 'Inactive' features:
More information will be forthcomming on those in the future (ie the specifics) BUT!

We are in the process of putting together multiple search engines for your use: Schools, Instructors and Training Partners!

The Video Library will open in early April, and the Library is going to be completely revamped, with a TON! of new features rolled out by year end.

1 new service that may be of some interest to a few of our members is a revamped 'Web Hosting' service, including 'Reseller Accounts'. More details on that shortly.

Is it going to be clear to new members how to access the fora from the main page http://www.martialtalk.com if they're new? It might be good to have a clear "CLICK HERE FOR FORA" type of button, especially with all the options now there. Imagine how frustrating it could be to not see how to get in!

I'm going to change the 'HOME' on the top level page to say "FORUM" shortly.

Thanks for the heads up though...I forgot about that..heh.

When I enter through my bookmark which is www.martialtalk.com

it still shows the older version of the page and there are graphic errors ie missing buttons.

If this is not what you get it may be that my cache memory is still pulling old graphics.

Re - Older version.... It does that to me too...not certain why...

Re - Shirts... I have a new design almost ready to go.... but I still have enough of the old ones that i cant afford to run off new ones yet. I'm blowing em out at $10US each. SM-XL still available.

I liked the idea of MT T-shirts but emasculating was just not for me.

Ya know....when I put up the possible colors, that shade of blue got most of the votes...it was only -after- I had them done that Gou (despite months of opportunitys) choose to say anything...

I am sorely tempted to dig out photoshop, and put Gou in a powder-blue MT babydoll! :D

I'm glad Dot at least likes hers. :) Thank you.

Oh Yah Do IT!!!! I'll even provide the picture. ;)

It is a money maker either way, Gou may pay a lot of money to stop the pic from being published, or a lot of people will pay to have a pic of Gou in a babydoll.

I haven't run into any snags. If I do I'll let ya know-

very easy on the eyes, too. I usually dim down the monitor and this is a bit more friendly. (IMHFO)

Hey, I was never asked to sit on the t-shirt comittee.

As far as me in a babydoll I have to remind you I have legal recourse for sure defemation of character without my consent.

But mostly I just don't want Joe Foster printing off the picture to do god-knows-what with it.

Hehehe....ewwww......*shudder*

I'll spin the tee shirt topic off to a new thread....

So, hows everything on the redesign looking? I think I've gotten all the bugs out, and can add the couple tweaks I've had suggested in shortly.

:)

Main page really looks sharp--but I am still a bit concerned that there may be too many buttons.

I'd move them more centre page cuz it kinda stretches the page now :(

Bob Hubbard
03-27-2003, 04:30 PM
It's supposed to be a dynamic thing (Ie will fit your screen if its over 800 pixels wide). I gotta check with a few more browsers.

Buttons.... I'll be adding in at least 2 more options soon. That should finalize things for this particular revamp.

Its a 3 tier design -
Immediate member links
Special Features
Utilities.

Keep the feedback coming. :)

Thank you!

What buttons are THOSE 2 gonna be?
