When posting a topic to the Newsroom, it must conform to the following guidelines.
1- Event Notices are no longer permitted in the NR. They should go in the Events areas (http://www.martialtalk.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=146) and are subject to our advertising guidelines. (http://www.martialtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62996)
2- News Articles that are little more than advertising are not allowed. Please refer to our advertising guidelines.
3- Press Releases -Must- be in a proper Press Release Format (http://www.mediacollege.com/journalism/press-release/format.html). If it is not, it is subject to removal.
4- Member Announcements should be placed in the Member Announcement (http://www.martialtalk.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=213)section.
5- Reposts of news from other sources must follow copyright guidelines. If in doubt, limit the article to a single paragraph with full attribution and a link to the full story.
