Hello all,
Brian,
I just hosted him two weeks ago and it was great. We had all Budo Taijutsu folks and they had a blast.
What a treat to be able to train with such a teacher.
Be well and Gassho,
Ken Savage

Well the seminar starts tomorrow night at 6 pm. This Friday and Saturday
are the last opportunities to train with the Grand Tuhon of Dekiti Tirsia Siradas this year in the United States. We are booked solid Friday night but have a few spots left on Saturday at "The Gathering"! The Grand Tuhon will also be teaching at "The Gathering" on Saturday!

Wow that was simply a great seminar and training weekend! The Grand Tuhon certainly had everyone sweating and moving and learning. What more can be said than that! I would like to thank Shaun Milo, John Bednarski, Rich Parsons and Brian "Buzz" Smith for coming up and training and sharing! A review of the weekend is here (http://brianvancise.wordpress.com/2008/10/26/grand-tuhon-jersen-nene-tortal-and-the-gathering/).

Hey Terry glad you enjoyed it. We presented the Grand Tuhon with a plaque commemorating his work as the Filipino Martial Artist of the Year. We also presented him with some parting gifts from the US. So we gave him a little Americana with one gift being a cowboy hat and another being a beautiful Bowie knife! http://www.martialtalk.com/forum/images/icons/icon6.gif

Definitley a one of a kind learning experience. I felt honored to even be in the same room with this guy! Age hasnt slowed him down one bit, and if it has, then I would be very scared to see how fast he used to be!

I was at his seminar in Salem, Ma at the M.A.R.I. Mike & May Williams place.....what impressed me was his transitional smoothness....It assured me that as we get older we do not have "lose" anything....Truely impressive individual!!
