Shock absorbing hook

I gotta Punchin bag in the basement and eveerey time i strike, it shakes the whole house. im lookin for shock absorbing hooks or cables. Please post info thanks

I've never heard of a hook that does this, though maybe they exist. I would imagine a system of cables could be rigged to work though--not that I'd know how to do it!

go to home depot and get a short, heavy duty coil spring.
another option is to check Ringside's catalog; they have a variety of mounting hardware
