Hello all. Due to my late daughter's special needs, I have been searching for a way to give her an appropriate legacy.
This August, in honor of what would have been her eleventh birthday, I will be hosting a pistol shoot to raise money for the Special Olympics. This event will follow NRA rules for qualification, and will be open to any handgunners interested as long as it is not a rimfire pistol. Details are still forming. I will have a date and location by the 30th of this month, and apparently I have successfully found a sponsor in Springfield Armory as well as some support from our fabulous Armed Forces.
Originally I was going to host a MA tournament, but the idea came about rather quickly, so we will see how this smaller event will go first and expand possibly next year.
