I was browsing for a Katana today and I found a Shinken blade here at Blades of Legend (http://198.63.2.33/index.php?ITEMID=SW-122) The sword in the picture looks nice and the price is extremly attractive, but I have some reservations about orderding a sword from a store that also sells cell phones. Has any one else shopped here who could tell me if the quality and service is any good?

My advice is to stay away from cheap swords. You will either hurt yourself or some else.

yeah I have decided to resist the temptation. On a lighter note I recently ordered a bokken from Japan, does any on know how long it takes for something to get from Japan to the midwest. Im assuming it will be a good long while.

I agree, and if you buy a sword, take the time to learn how to clean it, and look for cracks, indications of fatigue, so you know when to stop using it.
