Good morning all.
Two years ago today, my eight and a half year old daughter, Marissa left this world for something better. In that time I have felt more pain and joy that should be survivable.
Today parents, I ask you all to take the time to share with yor children exactly how they bring fulfillment to your life, and how much you love them. You do not know how long you will have them. Make June 11th a day to cherish and celebrate your children, so that no matter what may come, they know where they stand in your hearts.

Craig,
Long time no talk. I still have your hand done "Zi Gung and Confucious" quote on my mantle. It reminds me of Marissa.
Thank you

Rich! It has indeed been a long time!
I am hoping to start getting down to your neck of the woods for training purposes a little more often now that I have a motivated stick and knife partner up here my way!
Thanks for remembering my Rissa, and thanks for all that you did years ago.
If you shoot as well, I am planning a fund raiser for the Michigan Special Olympics in August out here in honor of Marissa's birthday. Looks like I have a range and some sponsorship from Springfield Armory. Love to have you come out and meet some of the West Side Martial Arts Gang!!

My sympathies are with you, good sir, my apologies for not noting this thread previously and my agreement with your sentiment.
It is also a reminder for us whose parents are still with us that we should take the time to be with them when we can - I know I for one am guilty of letting the pace of life 'get in the way'.

Craig,
The first and third weekends in August I have weddings. And I only have a pistol. No Long Guns. Shoot me a PM with the details or post it in a thread under seminars or events.
I too am sorry for your loss...
