Parkour?

Does anybody here train in Parkour ?
Do you consider it a martial art, or does it help you with your art?
I only dabbled in it for a few weeks because I needed someone to teach me and nobody around by me is too good at it.
But I think it's a brilliant thing to learn and wish I practise it more.
I'm surprised I haven't seen any threads on it here.

It is fun to watch, but it is not a martial art. It is running mixed with stunts and gymnastics.

I mentioned it in a short post about "Barrio 13" about a month ago (down on the rec room)

Probably would be only a martial art in the sense that Nike-Do would be :) But probably a useful component for escaping situations

Cool as hell. Practitioners are in great shape. But not a Martial Art.
