This is definitely an old school thread. I'm wondering if Helio and Wally ever crossed paths? They are both about 90 years old and both have Judo Backgrounds. Anyone know if they ever trained together or competed against each other?

I can not give an exacting answer. However, if you read the interview that Marc Tadeschi did in his huge hapkido book. There he did an interview with Wally Jay, Jay did speak well of Gracie. However, I haven't opened my copy up in a while. Check it out at Borders or Barnes and Nobles.
