The 'Kenpo Kids' from the American Kenpo Karate Academy in England recently staged a 'Kenpo Kick-A-Thon' to raise funds for sparring equipment.

21 students, between the ages of five and thirteen took part, each kicking a hanging bag as many times as possible in one minute. (The younger ones kicked for two sessions of 30 seconds and their scores were added together)

Everyone had a great time, and I would like to say a big THANK YOU & WELL DONE to everyone who took part.

Special thanks also to the Kick-a-thon Officials, Cleo Dywer, Billy Andersen and helper Karleah Ward.

Please add your congratulations by visiting
the American kenpo Karate Academy forum (http://pub39.bravenet.com/forum/show.php?usernum=3291030034)

Thank you,

Les

Are Last Kick-a-thon had 7 or 8 kids and they did over 4500 kicks in a hour. These kids were between the age of 5-10.
