I believe it's true

There are stories like these all the time. One incident included cops in Japan who knew judo to take down a runaway kangaroo from a zoo. Then there was the incident where a TKD instructor killed some guy who was pissing on the wall while raping a girl. But just because they practice MA doesn't make them so much special.

There are tons of cops out there who never took MA other than a crash-course in self-defense and some boxing lessons at the academy who done a great deal to help fight crime.
