Good luck Adam.
I went to the FIMA Fall Classic Karate (http://www.martial-forums.com/forums/) Tournament 11/18/07. They usually have 3-400 competitors. There were only 120 competitors today and no adults competed. This tournament has been running in NJ for 16 yrs. and this is the first time they had no adult competition. I think attendance and competitors in karate tournaments is dropping.
All my own students had excuses like the fact that they were going away but most were just not interested.
My question is - Do others notice a downturn in tournament competition?
By the way I have been really busy with my post-grad degree so I apologize for not posting recently. Happy holidays & good health to everyone and their families.
