where did you get your signature quote from? and why did you choose it?

mine is from the Tao... chapter 22 it says alot if you read into it... as most of the Tao does... if you can find a decent translation of it lol

Yield and overcome;
Bend and be straight;
Empty and be full;
Wear out and be new;
Have little and gain;
Have much and be confused.

Therefore the wise embrace the one
And set an example to all.
Not putting on a display,
They shine forth.
Not justifying themselves,
They are distinguished.
Not boasting,
They receive recognition.
Not bragging,
They never falter.
They do not quarrel,
So no one quarrels with them.
Therefore the ancients say, "Yield and overcome."
Is that an empty saying?
Be really whole,
And all things will come to you.

Mine depends on what I'm thinking.

Int he past I've quoted the Tao, the Art of War, Book of 5 Rings, Napoleon, Gen. Patton, Gen Longstreet, and Arn Anderson.

Currently, I'm quoting Marcus Cole, Ranger from Babylon 5. The idea is just appealing to me at the moment...

I got mine from, and since I work in a "Mass Attack " situation daily,( so to speak) I also live by that quote. If I have to go to war at work, I make damn sure to win. Losing is not an option.:samurai:

I came up with mine on my own. It reflects my views and that it doesn't tick people off when I post something. I hate when there's a right or wrong because I'm almost always in the wrong.:shrug:

I can't remember where I got mine, though another member did tell me who actually authored it.

I'm actually thinking about changing it to inane babbling, since that's what I do most of the time, anyway.
