Dumb carjackers

First, they try to carjack an armed driver.

Second, they try this in front of a police station.

Detroit police are investigating a carjacking attempt in front of police headquarters on Beaubien in which the victim opened fire on the would-be robbers, killing one.

Police said the incident occurred around 11 p.m. Thursday in a parking lot across the street from the 1300 Beaubien building.


Anyways kudos to the driver for getting rid of some of the criminal element.

All carjackers are dumb. The intended victim has the winning weapon under their right foot. Two thugs tried this with us many years ago and my then wife simply floored the gas pedal. Lots of macho guys boast they'd do that, but this woman actually did it. Kudos to her!

That's right. Just like the taxi driver that has someone try to pull that "car-jacking" thing. The driver might just decide to go on "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride"!
