I am new to muay thai, and i was wondering if i was watching instructional videos and reading books and training for muay thai at my home gym would it be effective? I am planning on sending videos to online trainers so they can tell what i need to do in stance exc. will this help me learn muay thai?

There have been countless threads on here regarding distance learning and training with books, dvds and tapes. This forum has a search feature that should provide you with those discussions.

Where are you located? It would be better for us to help you find an instructor rather than have you try to learn at home.
