Decline in the Traditional: Finding a Judo School

I started training in judo when I was in high school and have stayed with the same group when I moved up to college. As my friends in the dojo have started to graduate and move away, I have occasionally run across them again and asked them about their training.

I have now been told the same thing by multiple graduated friends of mine. When they move away from our college, they have trouble finding another dojo that teaches judo and/or ju jitsu. All of them have told me they can find a number of BJJ, MMA, or striking arts all day long, but no judo or ju jitsu.

I was wondering if any of you have had similar troubles finding places to train after relocating. I do not want to graduate and move away if I can't find a new dojo. Has anyone else noticed a decline in older more traditional arts?
