I have a good friend who lives in Barcelona and would like to investigate Kenpo.
Anyone know of reputable Kenpoists in his area?

I have the idea there's no dojo training EPAK in Barcelona, but I may ask in the spanish forum to make sure...

The best schools are in Madrid, though. And some of them train also saturdays. But is like 400 km from BCN.

If there isn't any form of Kenpo (EPAK or not) perhaps someone on the Spanish forum could recomend a good, realism based, martial arts school in the Catalonian region.

Roger lives in the northern end of Barcelona.
I had the privalege to visit there a few years back. That is one BEAUTIFUL city!!!!

Here's the only reply I got so far. There's only one kenpo gym in Cataluña. It's in Blanes, Gerona, which is a village in the cost north of BCN, but I don't know how far.

The man who reply to me is waiting for the representative of the WKKA here to go give some instruction there, or find someone to do so. If I get any more info, I'll tell you.

And yes, BCN is a nice city ;) (I'm from Madrid)

There is one EPAK studio in Calella, Barcelona. The instructor is Isidro González 6th degree. I know him and is a very good kenpoist. He is a member of the master Frank Soto´s association, who is a Grand Master Tatum´s student.

Hello Brother John

My Name is Ingmar Johansson I'm a 4:th degree in Ed parker's kenpo in Sweden. I visit Spain and Barcelona every year for vacation. I got back 10 days ago after a month of vacation. I know there is a club in Reus outside of Tarragona. I was there a year doing seminars. Nice people and that is the closest to Barcelona that I know of. There is good Kenpo in Madrid, Malaga and Burgos. There is propably more places but those are the guys I know from my days in the IKKA.
