Ok i know Gumdo / Kumdo is the same thing and all. But how many different styles of gumdo are there? I have trained in Koryo gumdo. However i want to expand my horizons and learn more within the spectrum of gumdo. I know of haidong gumdo but what else is out there.

This just came up in another thread. Please check out this thread (http://www.martialtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46611) and see if it answers some of your questions. You can also find links to more information about many of these styles here (http://www.bbakumdo.com/links.htm).
Koryo Gumdo was founded in 2000 by a master in the Hwarang Kwan kumdo style (Japanese kendo), who had some exposure to Daehan Haidong Gumdo through the 4-month intensive program in Seoul, Korea. Most of the emphasis (that I have seen) in Koryo Gumdo is on the kendo-style techniques and exercises, with the addition of the first set of forms from Daehan HDGD. Here (http://www.wtf-scotland.co.uk/pages/gumdo.php) is a good website for some background on Koryo Gumdo.
