Wyoming (cowboy) State Games, anyone going?

I was curious to see if anyone was going to compete next month? My son will be competing in kempo Forms and possibly Judo. His old man,lol, may try forms. If any of you folks are going, be great to see ya there.

I don't think we have gone in about 15 years, at the time it was just getting completely home-towned by the TKD folks. Plus we spend more of our time down in Salt Lake City attending the tournaments down there.

How are the events down in UT? Pretty good turnouts? I went to the Big Sky Games in MT last year and the Kempo and Kung fu folks did very well. Maybe some other arts are making inroads into the wild west :) Do let me know if you guys change your mind and might go.

Oh, I mentioned your compatition in May to my class last night. I had a couple of students exspress interest so plz keep me updated on the particulars.

The Salt Lake tournaments aren't necessarily all that big, but I can say they have top level competitors. There are a couple of schools down there that turn out national class competitors. Actually the March tournament down there is the Salt City Internationals a top-level NBL tournament, and that is (unsurprisingly) a huge event.
