Commando Krav Maga seminar on 12/17/06 by Moni Aizik

Hello all

Moni Aizik will be in Akron, Ohio on 12/17/06. He will teach a Commando Krav Maga seminar at the Akron Shaw Jewish Community Center from Noon-6:00PM.

Moni Aizik is a veteran of the Israeli Special Forces. One of his jobs while he was on active duty was to adapt Krav Maga for the unique needs of the Special Forces. Out of this experience comes the Commando Krav Maga he will be teaching.

In addition to being a veteran, Aizik is also 7 time Israeli National Judo Champ.

Since leaving the military, Aizik has operated a school in Canada. He's also been coaching people like MMA champ Carlos Newton.

In planning this seminar, I'm amazed at the amount of experience Aizik brings. He's been a judo champion, a commando under fire, a long time teacher and coach to successful professional fighters. The other participants and I are looking forward to learning from the man.

Akron, Ohio is midway between Cleveland and Canton. Cleveland attractions include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while Canton boasts the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

According to my buddy on the Akron Police Department, you can deduct the seminar fee from your taxes.

I don't know if that helps, but its something.

Hello again folks

One thing I'm hoping to accomplish with this seminar is to create a network of martial artists in the Northeastern Ohio area interested in attending teaching seminars. Every 6 months or so, I would poll the group for who they'd like to learn from and work to bring them in.

Here's a look at the short list of people under consideration for the next seminar:

Marc Denney

If you want a say, you have to attend the 12/17 seminar.

You probably want to know why I'm doing this. Its not for the money, I've got a day job and do MA strictly for my own enjoyment. The fees for this seminar are going to pay for Moni Aizik's time and the seminar venue.

My whole stake in doing this is to bring nationally known instructors to the Akron area so its convenient for me to learn from them.

Local law enforcement is going to send some people. Local folks involved in the Army Reserves have expressed interest as has a local security agency.

Last 2 week of registration. Handful of spots left....
