I know there have been 5 women awarded 8th Dan (KKW) [I believe one is now deceased]. Have there been any women awarded 9th Dan?

Great question...I have no clue. On the 8th Dans, do you know their names?

The only one I know by name is GM Brenda J. Sell. The only other thing I know is that the other are Korean...& I believe one of the 5 is deceased.

Since the 1960 only 11 women have recieved 8th Brenda Sells was the second non Korean to do so the other was a women that is from Canada and at this point I do not remember her name

There's a woman in the ITF who was awarded 8th Dan - Renee Sereff. That was before I left the ITF in 1994; I don't really know if there are others.
