i am interested in learning to use tonfas. and i am looking for a place to get high quality ones. ultimately i just dont want them to break. can anyone point me in the right direction?

Umm wouldn't it be a good idea to start out using cheap, err inexpensive ones or training ones before you invest in the high quality ones... with the inexpensive or trainers you can beat them up and not worry.

I got my Tonfa from RyuKyu martial arts in Merriam, KS. They are extremely good. They are pressure treated and harder than rock. The only downfall is that they are super heavy. I would suggest that you check out some lighter, cheaper ones to train with first. At this point you don't know if you will like them or not. With the price of high quality Tonfa you might be throwing away money. JMHO.
