What are your thoughts?

How do you think they compare with a simpler solution of using something like lipstick to coat the edge of the aluminum trainers you alread have?

As mentioned here (http://www.fmatalk.com/showthread.php?p=6613#post6613), they are very very expensive but you can make cheap imitations!

I have not used them yet. but I want to try them
I also want to try out the shock blades I think the shock blade may be a better training tool

Doesn't the shock zap you even if you have the flat end of the knive against your skin? I think it's PTK that practices a reverse grip with the dull edge of the blade up against the arm.

I think it's PTK that practices a reverse grip with the dull edge of the blade up against the arm.

In fact, they use the sharp edge toward the arm with a short blade; see e.g. here (http://www.fmatalk.com/showthread.php?p=6248#post6248). I find more and more to like about this idea!

I haven't tried a shockknife (http://www.fmatalk.com/showthread.php?t=668&highlight=shock) yet but would like to do so.
