Just read an article about a local NRA event in Simsbury, CT. The NRA held a women's shooting clinic. It was designed to attract more women to the sport of shooting and guns for self-defense. They got to shoot some pretty cool stuff. Some of the pictures they posted were pretty funny. Some of the beginners had the biggest grins on their faces. Some had that "Where can I get one of these?" looks.
After reading the article, I went to the NRA website. It seems they have nationwide campaign to get more women involved in shooting. Some of the clinincs are actually free!
