Um... it seems like no one's been here for a while, but in case someone sees this, do you know how the special symbol code is recognized, even if it is connected by other letters? Any reply would be helpful. Thank you.

Special symbols? Like ÐØØÐ ? I copied and pasted that from the character map accessory. Or escape characters in html code? If so, check out http://www.theukwebdesigncompany.com/articles/entity-escape-characters.php

There are special character sequences for various symbols that have importance in HTML like the Ampersand, Quote and double Quote. Which particular symbols are giving you trouble?

I'm sure I could answer, but am not really sure of the question...?
How do you add them into your code? how does the browser recognize them? Do you mean things like greater than / less than symbols, copyright symbols, etc?
