Moms: Babysitting or Family class?

Some (few) martial arts training centers have babysitting for your youngsters and many others don't. Some offer a family class so you and your kids can train together.

Do you prefer to have "ME time" on the mat alone and pay for babysitting or do you prefer to make martial training a family affair?

When my kids were younger, I prefered my own class. Now, we train together. I don't worry about them so much and they can hold their own so I don't feel I have to "mother" them when they are on the mats now.

Used to have separate classes when they were younger and when my oldest reached the appropriate age she joined the adult class. I was very happy to have her train with me as she had outgrown the children's program and was getting bored.

A Family affair, especially for my family. Most woman just want the "me Time" and that is fine too!!!!
