Hi.

And I think it will be cool if I write about an Australian martial art.
But does it excist an Australian Martial Art???

Sorry for my bad English.

Check out Your aboriginees, they must have a way of combat. Australian Rules football might count as well.

Sorry warrior it was a pathetic attempt at humour by drawing a parallel between martial arts and the extremely tough game of Australian Rules Footbal (which to a non Aussie looks pretty much like all out war).

I got it! :) Good one!!!!

I think Austrailia is similar to the US. Most of the styles come from other countries.

I know of only one Australian martial art:

It's called Beer Pound Fu. Or other name for your research being Fostersdo

Good luck with that research man, its gonna be a little rough to find a native Australian MA.

Like HKphooey said, most martial arts styles in Australia came from other countries.
The native Aboriginals used many weapons to hunt for food, and for fighting each other before white settlement. Here are a couple of web sites that may help you with your school project.

the boomerang was used as a weapon, i would think thers something along thos lines
you could also look at aborigional dance as thers lots of MAs mixed up with dance (brazil/africa and capoiera etc)

The aborigines that are in the city [Melbourne] have their own style of fighting. It involves clenching your fists and throwing them wildly at your opponent. Can't say I've experianced this first hand but have seen video footage of it [I work security] also have seen a few aborignal vs aboriginal fights [they're funny as] Although the technique is not very skilful it can be effective against pansies who are too scared to defend themselves. This technique however can become difficult to defend against when you are outnumbered 3 to 1.
