For those of you who are not familiar with me:

I began training in 1972. I am currently a 7th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do under Grandmaster Chung Il Kim, Moo Duk Kwan Pin No. 475.

I also hold Shodan ranking in both Isshinryu Karate and Hakko-Ryu Ju Jutsu. I have cross-trained in Shotokan since 1974, Motobu-Ha S h i t o Ryu and Wing Chun Gung Fu since 1998.

I have been teaching specialized seminars in Bunkai, Henka and Oyo for many years, and have found that most practitioners have been, for the most part, only involved in the study of one system, and therefore, often times, locked into one way of viewing Kata/Hyung, and the application of the techniques that they are comprised of.

This past year I was able to meet with Tang Soo Do practitioners from several organizations/associations across the country to share with them, what I teach. The response has been such that I would like to establish two seminars per month.

Under: Korean Martial Arts/Tang Soo Do, one of your members started a thread titled: Master Jay S. Penfil. In this thread several members that I have worked with have posted their feeling on the value that I have brought to them so far. Please feel free to inquire about me, and what I can offer you in a seminar.

We are quickly approaching calendar year “2006”. I am in the process of setting up my schedule of seminar dates. If you are interested in hosting a seminar with me, please contact me at your earliest convenience to lock in the date that you would like.
